I was sent your blog on APS and HSBC by a colleague and we both agreed that finally someone is seeing through the rubbish we are being fed by Maltese media.  The level of ignorance on financial matters is unbelievable.

 

You are right in saying that 55% of APS and HSBC is much larger than 79% of APS.  I might add that even 40% is more of value than the current stake.

 

There is one further point.  The Curia does not want but needs to dilute its shareholding in APS.  This is because it needs to raise funds to buy HSBC.  It also needs to do so in order not to come on the radar of the European Central Bank.

 

Well done for exposing the hypocrites.
