The article in The Times titled “Muscat never questioned her Egrant work. Now he wants a court expert prosecuted” refers to the criminal steps taken by Dr. Joseph Muscat in confronting one of the forensic experts in the Egrant inquiry.
According to Times of Malta, the same expert was identified as a forensic accountant in the Egrant inquiry, and it was argued that at that time, there was no objection from Dr. Muscat regarding the credentials of the court expert.
The reason behind all this is quite simple. In the Egrant inquiry, the investigating Magistrate did the job. In the Vitals inquiry, the Magistrate did no do her job.
