Unfavorable conditions such as stigma, discrimination, and exposure to risks like harassment can significantly impact mental health, overall quality of life, and ultimately, work productivity. With a substantial portion of the global population engaged in work, it is imperative to take immediate action to mitigate risks to mental health and promote mental well-being in the workplace.

Collaboration among governments, employers, worker organizations, and other stakeholders is essential to enhance mental health at work. Involving workers and individuals with lived experience of mental health conditions in decision-making processes is key to implementing effective strategies.

By investing in evidence-based approaches and interventions, we can create a work environment where everyone can flourish professionally and personally.

Let’s join forces today to pave the way for a healthier future.
