Georgian PM pledges “no one will undermine peace, stability” in country

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized the country’s unwavering commitment to peace and stability, despite recent protests and the suspension of EU accession talks.

 

He expressed concern over the lack of foreign support for peaceful protests and accused some entities of inciting violence.

Kobakhidze warned against foreign interference aiming to destabilize Georgia and promote anti-European sentiments. He highlighted Georgia’s strong institutions and dedication to European integration, despite external attempts to provoke conflict and unrest.

 

The Prime Minister’s remarks underscored the importance of upholding democratic principles and safeguarding Georgia’s sovereignty amidst external pressures.
