Dr. Frank Anthony Tabone, the Police Officer who allegedly came up with the idea of searching Joseph Muscat’s house, has been avoiding addressing the serious accusations against him.
Despite the public outcry and demands for clarification, Dr. Tabone has chosen to remain silent, leaving many unanswered questions lingering in the air.
It is utterly outrageous that Dr. Tabone, a full-time Police Officer, managed to juggle his demanding job with attending a full-time Law course at the University of Malta. The university explicitly requires students to declare that they do not hold a full-time job before enrolling in such courses. Yet, Dr. Tabone seemed to have conveniently overlooked this requirement, raising suspicions of deceit and dishonesty.
The fact that Dr. Tabone has been approved as the Nationalist Party Candidate for the Thirteenth Electoral District only adds insult to injury. It is beyond belief that someone who appears to have manipulated the system for personal gain is now seeking public office. The audacity and hypocrisy displayed by Dr. Tabone are truly appalling.
We demand answers to the following questions:
– Did Dr. Tabone falsify his declaration to enroll in the Law course at the University of Malta?
– Was the university aware of his full-time employment as a Police Officer and chose to turn a blind eye?
– Did the Police Force grant Dr. Tabone permission to pursue a full-time course at the university?
– Were the hours spent at the university deducted from Dr. Tabone’s leave entitlement?
– Did Dr. Tabone continue to receive full pay while attending the university, as if he were working at the Police Headquarters or the FCID building in Santa Venera?
These are serious allegations that cannot be swept under the rug. The public deserves transparency and accountability from those in positions of authority. Dr. Tabone’s actions, if proven to be true, undermine the trust and integrity of our institutions.
