Absolutely appalled by the recent revelations regarding the unpaid wages of employees at the Nationalist Party.
It has come to our attention that some individuals were coerced into working as self-employed individuals, bypassing Jobsplus, which has resulted in significant delays in receiving their rightful payments.
It is utterly unacceptable that a number of employees have been left waiting for months to receive their hard-earned wages. When we reached out to the employees for comments, they disclosed that the late Karl Gouder had managed to secure funds to ensure that they were paid on time.
However, since his passing, the situation has deteriorated significantly, with no one taking responsibility or action to rectify the issue.
It is disgraceful that individuals have had to resort to begging for money in order to cover the wages of their colleagues. The fact that the situation at the PN headquarters is described as desperate is a clear indication of the mismanagement and neglect that has plagued the organization.
We will continue to investigate this matter further and provide updates as more information becomes available. It is imperative that those responsible for this gross injustice are held accountable and that immediate action is taken to address the unpaid wages of the Nationalist Party employees.
