did you know that Louis Galea’s former chief of staff was sentenced to 18 years in jail and fined €40,000 after Judge Michael Mallia found him guilty of all counts of conspiracy, importation and trafficking in cocaine?
It’s outrageous how Bezzina, who practically dominated Louis Galea’s ministry like it was his own turf, wielded as much power as the Minister himself!
Norman Bezzina got what he deserved with that sentence for smuggling kilos of cocaine from Canada, where he repeatedly traveled with none other than Louis Galea.

It’s infuriating how Galea managed to dodge corruption charges, all thanks to the lack of social media back then, which conveniently erased any shred of evidence against him.
But would Andrew Azzopardi dare spill the beans on all of this? Nope, because he’s too busy playing the sycophant.

I used to know Norm Bezzina here in Toronto especially from frequenting the Maltese Melita S.C club. Norm and at the beginning were not really friends especially that that he was a Nationalist supporter and I was Labour. One big incident that I have to mention is that when in 1987 the Nationalists won the election in Malta, Norm, Thomas Woods(who I heard now turned Labour, have a cushy job with the government and especially Lou Bond and others went to the Maltese Commissioner office where the late Commissioner John Pisani was at his desk was attacked and they ransacked the office throwing the pictures of the late president Agatha Barbara and other pictures and tore them apart.. Later on Louis Galea was told by EFA to remove Norman from his office when it was found that Norm was dealing drugs. I remember vividly the day Prime Minister EFA visited the Melita Club in Toronto, I told Norman that his boss was here, his response was (fuck him) and we sort of became friends.
