It’s time I address the nonsense spouted by Karen Zerafa Boffa. Her ridiculous comments are steeped in baseless negativity, revealing how tightly she clings to tenuous and flawed perceptions. The sheer nerve she has to support drug addict Zelensky’s regime is nothing short of scandalous, and her skewed remarks about Turkey only underscore her ignorance.
Boffa makes bold claims that President Erdoğan suppresses opposition voices and has the gall to liken Malta’s Labour Government to oppressive regimes, all while spewing accusations of throttling democracy.
Does she even have a firm grip on reality? The group Repubblika, she so boldly claims as a massive force and compare to Solidarność, is a mere speck, far from the imposing entity she imagines. With a paltry 943 members, they’re hardly more formidable than a neighborhood band club.
Yet, she has the temerity to belittle a government that was elected with a monumental mandate. Clearly, she’s either lost in a delusion or intentionally misleading. If this government wasn’t legitimately elected, she wouldn’t be so frenzied about it.

As someone who actually resides in Turkey, let me set Karen straight. Erdoğan has elevated Turkey’s global standing like no leader before him. Securing a robust electoral mandate right after a devastating earthquake is a testament to the unwavering trust his people have in him.
Erdoğan has an acute sense of who truly stands by him, and it’s a tragedy that Malta isn’t graced with leadership of his magnitude. His prowess could transform the Great Siege Monument into a beacon of resilience, not the object of misguided ridicule it currently suffers from.
Her egregious disregard for our national heritage is shocking, acting as though blind to the genuine political landscape. It’s a monumental insult that a puppet judge could desecrate something that belongs to all of us. Leaders like Erdoğan embody true patriotism—something we sorely lack in Malta. Boffa could greatly benefit from time in Turkey to grasp real discipline and learn to cherish her country’s heritage.
Karen Zerafa Boffa needs a strong dose of reality because her words are exceptionally disconnected from the facts.
