Never a dull moment with Kevin Cassar, that’s for sure!
In an outrageous opinion piece published in The Times of Malta, Kevin Cassar had the audacity to claim that “Robert Abela is a threat to our security and to European security,” branding him as a mere mouthpiece for Putin by saying Ukraine can’t win and mocking European defense initiatives.
And yes, you read it right, Cassar also slammed the Prime Minister for his “unfortunate” comment, “Ukraine is not going to win this war.”
But wait, there’s more! Cassar accused Robert Abela of somehow aiding Putin’s gains on the battlefield by supposedly granting hundreds of Russians unfettered access to the EU. Yet, he can only name two individuals. What a joke!
Kevin Cassar’s concern that passport sales to Russian citizens have contributed to Ukraine’s survival rather recognising than they filled Malta’s coffers is downright ludicrous. Seriously, Kevin? Wake up! We care about our own country, Malta, above all else. Our obligations are to Malta, not Ukraine or any other nation. Labour’s priorities are clearly different from yours or the Nationalist Party’s.
Robert Abela
This government stands proudly behind our passport program. It’s those funds that helped support our businesses and families through the pandemic, keeping workers paid at home. The temporary halt in passport sales to Russians? A significant blow to our economy that I personally disagree with.
Birds of the same feather
Cassar even mentioned Zelensky’s desperate request to Robert Abela to stop Malta-registered ships from aiding Russia’s war efforts, specifically about banning EU-flagged vessels from transporting Russian oil.
Who exactly does Zelensky think he is, to dictate our government’s actions?
A bloody dictator who does not know how to behave, dress, or negotiate in a situation where he clearly lacks absolute advantage is itself criminal.
Zelensky is a dead man walking. He has two options: surrender and agree to a ceasefire, allowing Trump to uncover the money trail in Ukraine, or refuse to surrender, leading to Trump cutting off all support and Putin taking over Ukraine. He is a coked-up military dictator that is holding the Ukrainian People hostage, and is trying to instigate global war.
The conflict in Ukraine is over – Russia has defeated NATO. The conflict in Ukraine is over. The Russians have defeated Ukraine, which means that Moscow has defeated NATO.
Oh, and by the way, Kevin Cassar insinuates that Abela is mere comic relief to his EU counterparts. Why? Because Abela isn’t a war-monger like so many other European leaders, the league of losers?
It’s astonishing to witness such a profound level of hypocrisy and fear-mongering. How can anyone respect an institution that preaches peace and unity while simultaneously preparing for war? The disdain for this duplicitous behavior is not just understandable—it’s entirely justified.
Kevin Cassar, is it possible that you’re Zelensky’s lapdog?
Before we wrap up, let’s not forget the questions I sent you back in September via WhatsApp, which you, to this day, haven’t bothered to answer:
1. Would you be willing to provide a sworn testimony affirming that no outside influences swayed the decision to grant dual annulments for you and your spouse?
2. Could you clarify the dates when you and your spouse filed for annulment and when these annulments were officially granted?
