Today, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, I stand once again at the revered Great Siege Monument, ready to exercise my right to freedom of expression. This is not just my campaign; it is our campaign, a heartfelt endeavor to reclaim this national monument and make it truly ours once more.
Judge Zammit McKeon’s ruling has set a precedent: if the Daphne contingent has the right to post their placards here, then so do I, and so does every Maltese citizen. We all have the right to express our views, and as promised, I will persist. They may remove my placards, but I will return, time and again, to ensure our voices are heard.
I am here to remind everyone that Ms. Caruana Galizia should not be elevated to the hero status that her small clique attempts to bestow upon her. Her name is linked with instances of tax evasion, domestic violence, and writings filled with animosity.
