De mortuis nihil nisi bonum

In our youth, we were taught a fundamental principle: “Of the dead, say nothing but good”—a respectful nod to the finality of life. This was until the late Daphne Caruana Galizia, renowned for her controversial blog posts, turned this convention on its head. Her infamous proclamation, “Do by all means speak ill of the dead if they were influential in life,” challenged societal norms and has since sparked heated debates.

Daphne Caruana Galizia did not shy away from lambasting prominent figures upon their death, often expressing relief and disdain. Her bold, unfiltered expressions often left many aghast, as it seemed an unfair affront on individuals who could no longer defend themselves. The widely held belief that the finality of death should also signify an end to earthly disputes did not hold true in her narratives.

Critics of Daphne’s outspoken nature, often find themselves the target of ire from the so called ‘Defnisti’ for continuing to scrutinize her even posthumously.

But is it not essential to address and reflect on the legacies—both good and bad—left behind by influential figures such as Daphne? Our stance is clear: “Speak Honestly Of The Dead Even If It Means Speaking Ill Of Them.” It is crucial in understanding the full spectrum of impact her life had on individuals and society.

Though her loved ones may prefer to remember her virtues, one cannot overlook the responsibility to acknowledge the uncomfortable truths of her actions. Her legacy, marred by allegations of a hit-and-run incident, domestic violence, tax evasion, and political corruption gate keeper, invites necessary scrutiny and reflection. Ignoring these elements erases not only her misdeeds but also dismisses the experiences of those affected.

Discussing the entirety of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s actions allows us to learn from past errors and ensures that the harm inflicted is neither forgotten nor repeated. Her articles, which outlived her, continue to shape public discourse, highlighting the enduring influence of her words—ugly parts included.

When the ‘Defnisti’  insist on whitewashing Daphne’s contentious history, they inadvertently silence the voices of those hurt by her actions, denying them justice and reconciliation. Thus, it is imperative that we continue to speak honestly about the multifaceted legacy Daphne left behind, confronting both the harm and the impact it continues to have today.

What is being propagated now is the bearing of hatred by an unscrupulous woman who had one thing at heart – tarnishing individuals with whatever came to her mind without realizing that society at large knew who she were – a tax evader, hate blogger, charged with domestic violence, and PN corruption gatekeeper for 25 long years.

Some people walk on this earth with their heart in their hand.

They always seek goodness and potential experience and positive exploration of other beings.

DCG “Divide-Create-Grief” was a blogger with a darkened heart.

A beating heart of venomous impunities.

A diabolic hatred against the peaceful enjoyment of life.

DCG was so intrenched in malice, falsities, and hatred that Lucifer housed her spirit and soul in hell’s penthouse, and awarded her the medal of ‘malum aeternum.’

She was the destroyer of truth, the invader to innocence and the arrow of distraction.

    Speak not of the dead.

However, when the dead continue to be reincarnated through the poisonous lips or writings of her misguided and equally hateful others, then she is the living dead and evil must bear the spear of justice.

The sect of the likes, Repubblika, Giovanni Falcone foundation and the PN party themselves imitate the ancients Egyptian who revered the dead who made them their slaves.

As most PN paid members called her “the bicca blogger”, she thought to be the goddess of Malta, and voted Adrian Delia to kick her out of her haven.

Coincidentally after she was murdered, Adrian Delia was kicked out of the PN leadership based on an alleged doctored poll issued by the MT.

Yep, the same media house where her readers are silenced,
