Adrian Delia: The Ignorant Puppet Who Gifted the Hospitals Back to Labour

Adrian Delia never misses a chance to scream at the top of his lungs that he “won the hospitals case.” He parades the court judgment like a trophy, as if he alone fought for taxpayers and saved billions. But behind the noise lies nothing more than ignorance and self-delusion.

Delia insists that thanks to his court action, the Maltese state “regained ownership” of the three hospitals. What he doesn’t realise — blinded by his own narcissism — is that in doing so, he gave the biggest gift possible to the Labour Government.

Let’s be clear: the hospitals deal could have worked. But Nationalist sabotage, egged on by partisan bloggers and vested interests, ensured that the project never had the breathing space it needed. Once Robert Abela became Prime Minister, he himself wanted the hospitals back — because Labour would put them to good use. And then along comes Adrian Delia, the confused man who still hasn’t even managed to conclude his separation case after seven long years, proudly delivering the hospitals back into Labour’s hands.

What Delia doesn’t realise is that we were smiling when he celebrated his “victory.” He thought he embarrassed Labour. In truth, he solved our problem, restoring the hospitals to government control, and handed Robert Abela the tools to continue strengthening the health sector.

So thank you, Delia. Thank you for doing Labour the favour you never understood. While you lost the leadership of your party, while you were humiliated and dismissed by your own, you still managed to deliver the hospitals back to the Labour Government.

Adrian Delia is not a saviour. He is not a hero. He is a confused narcissist, a puppeteer who loves the spotlight, and — above all — the best asset the Labour Party could ever wish for.

We used you, Delia. And now you can rejoice in the only legacy you will ever have: being the puppet who brought the hospitals back to Labour.

A boot licker tries to change the tune to the dance.

Quote “ Once Robert Abela became Prime Minister, he himself wanted the hospitals back” Unquote

Bobby was defending the contract against Stewart who were asking for changes etc etc whilst Bobby roped in JM the former PM for leverage.

And what is this story about taking back the hospitals? The hospitals remained property and f the State. The operational company was contracted. So nobody is a hero here. Both Adriannand Bobby had done their duty as they have sworn when representing their constituents.

Give us a break from sensational journalism. Most readers are not fools.
