Metsola’s Betrayal, Delia’s Collapse — The PN’s Shameful Reality

In the Party of Cowards, everyone hides behind someone else. None of them have the courage to face reality, take responsibility, or fight their battles head-on.

When the so-called “Empress of Battles,” Roberta Metsola, realised that a leadership contest in Malta would see Robert Abela wipe the floor with her, she chickened out. Instead of stepping forward, she hid behind Adrian Delia, blessing him with her full support. The result? A humiliating defeat. Metsola wasn’t just a coward for not contesting — she became the biggest loser of the election. Those she backed were left flat on the floor, crushed by their own incompetence.

But cowardice in the PN doesn’t stop there. Adrian Delia, always the man of excuses, has now resorted to hiding behind his campaign manager, Paul Borg. Instead of admitting his failures, Delia is trying to spin the story as if it was all the fault of his team. This is the classic Delia playbook: fists clenched, shouting, threatening, but when the time comes to stand tall, he retreats and lets others take the blows.

This site has solid information that on Saturday night, Delia was in full meltdown mode — fists pounding, issuing threats, and insisting he would file lawsuits to contest the outcome. But as always, the lion quickly turned into a mouse. Now he’s too afraid to follow through and is once again cowering behind Paul Borg.
