Gabriella Vella Wants to Be Judge After Hospital Inquiry Scandal
Magistrate Gabriella Vella, the same person who presided over the infamous €11 million hospital inquiry, now wants to be promoted to Judge.
Yes, the same inquiry where:
- Experts were paid €11 million under her signature.
- The so-called “lead expert,” Jeremy Harbinson, inflated bills and pocketed money off other experts.
- Key experts are now refusing to testify unless they are paid.
- Out of 30 experts appointed, the Court only has addresses for three.
- Persistent leaks dripped out from a supposedly secret inquiry.
And yet, Gabriella Vella wants to be rewarded with a Judge’s robe.

Joseph Muscat
Let’s not forget: she refused to even hear former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, choosing instead to send police to raid his home. She ignored balance, ignored fairness, and turned an inquiry into a political circus.
Now, after all this damage, Vella wants a seat at the top bench.
The irony is staggering: a Magistrate whose inquiry has collapsed under the weight of its own scandal is positioning herself for promotion. And in the corridors of Court, whispers grow louder that at least two members of the Selection Board are very close to her.
If this is justice, then justice is blind for all the wrong reasons.

IF GABRIELLA VELLA IS CHOSEN, THEN THIS WOULD BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST SCANDALS EVER IN MALTA`S JUDICIAL HISTORY. I SINCERELY HOPE THAT THE PRESIDENT , HER EXCELLENCY MIRIAM SPITERI DEB0ONO, USES HER INFLUENCE TO STOP SUCH AN ENORMOUS SCANDAL FROM OCCURING !
