When society starts teaching children to doubt who they are instead of guiding them with reason and love, it’s not progress — it’s collapse disguised as tolerance.
Somewhere along the line, the world lost its mind.
We went from teaching children how to read and respect others to teaching them how to question their own biology.
Let’s be clear: children are not social experiments. They are not blank canvases for adults to paint their confusion on.
They don’t need new genders.
They need parents with common sense.
The new fashion of “gender fluidity” and “non-binary identity” being introduced into schools is not progress — it’s madness disguised as enlightenment. A society that cannot tell the difference between a boy and a girl has lost its grip on reality.
This is not about tolerance. Malta has always been a tolerant country. We respect people’s private choices — what adults do with their lives is their business. But when ideologues start targeting children, pushing them to question who they are before they even understand what life means, that’s where every sane parent should draw the line.
Let’s stop pretending this is about freedom. It’s about confusion. It’s about imposing an ideology that tells children their natural identity is something to be “reconstructed” or “redefined.”
That’s not liberation — that’s manipulation.
Children need stability, not slogans.
They need role models, not activists.
They need discipline, guidance, and love — not lectures about pronouns.
Parents who allow this nonsense to enter their homes are failing their children. Schools that promote it are betraying their duty to educate, not indoctrinate. And politicians who support it are selling out the future generation for applause from the loudest fringe.
So yes — kids don’t need new genders.
They need parents who have the courage to say no to the insanity, and yes to common sense.
Because a generation raised on confusion will grow into a society that no longer knows who it is.
And a country that forgets the difference between right and wrong — or between male and female — is a country heading for collapse.
Malta must never go down that road.
