Dear Neville,
I don’t get impressed with words. It’s easy to say things and harder when you get the flack when bullshit is exposed.
Why don’t you investigate the state of our senior citizens?
Are carers investigated thoroughly about their qualifications here in Malta. Are these carers assessed periodically? And what about the job to tend only for “nursing” the senior citizen and no responsibility on hygiene?
Do you know the state of those “private homes”.? Do you think that these homes give respect to our senior citizens? Do you think that these homes are highly maintained?
Could be politicians are given priority for their families and maybe by time they build a strong network and will not experience these low and degrading services.
Before you PR like a parrot, try do some research before.
Based on my experience with both my parents, I agree with you 100%. Tra il dire e il fare c’è di mezzo il mare. Talk is cheap. It is a case of it is easier said than done!!!
